Water Quality Monitoring

The regular monitoring of water quality in both domestic hot and cold water systems and wet evaporative cooling towers is essential to ensure the level of any contaminants remains below the maximum acceptable levels, as recommended by current regulations. Where systems are allowed to deteriorate, bacteria including legionella pneumophila can quickly proliferate to a level where a potential hazard exists.

Electron Water Treatment employs four basic forms of testing, namely:

Laboratory analysis is undertaken by an independent NAMAS accredited analyst.

Electron Water Treatment advocates regular testing, performance monitoring and full record keeping by use of log books, record cards and computer systems which systematically measure the quality of incoming water supplies, the quality of stored water in tanks and vessels and the efficiency of cleaning and chlorination treatments.

The sample testing and subsequent dosing of domestic hot and cold closed water recirculation systems is also within the scope of the work carried out by EWH.
